Commit to Memory

Memorize one of the passages below or find a passage that speaks to you and commit it to memory. If you need help getting started, go to and enter a word or phrase; then read the passages where the word appears in scripture, pick a verse, and memorize it.

• Psalms 56:3- Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.

• Isaiah 40:31- But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

• John 13:34-35- "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. "By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."

• Romans 8:38-39- For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

• Philippians 4:13- I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

• Revelation 3:20- "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.
